In this day and age why do I believe in God? Because He is alive and ever-present in my life.
Life is not smooth sailing, it has its up and downs and I have no idea what the next day has in store for me.
Since receiving the Holy Spirit, I have grown in my understanding of hope and trust in God. I know that throughout everything I face in life - the good and the challenges - He is there for me, always.
My personal relationship with God began nearly 20 years ago when I received the Holy Spirit.
Since then I have seen Him work wonderful miracles in my life and those of my family. I have seen Him heal and provide peace in times of need.
I am constantly learning what it truly means to know God and have Him in my life, but to me, God is a friend.
I can talk to Him when I’m worried, I can ask Him for help and know that He will give me support and an answer, even if it’s not the one I may have thought I needed or wanted.
God's constant presence in my life gives me peace throughout the uncertain times and comfort, knowing that He has a plan for me.
Even though I don’t know what lies ahead of me in this life, every day I put my hope and trust in God.
I know that He cares for me and holds my future, and for that I am sure and truly thankful.
